If you oppose this Duterte's war vs poor este drugs, you should oppose the postponement of barangay elections. Here's why. (Thread)

1. Barangay officials came up with the drugs list. Just how bad the lists are, just look at all the innocent dead people.

2. Barangay elections have been postponed several times already, for no good reasons.

3. Elections are the only way we can make these bgy offiicals accountable, and this govt is denying us this right.

4. They are postponing it as a cover for a possible referendum for Duterte's move to stay in power forever aka charter change.

5. This postponement extends bgy official's terms by almost a year, as reward for coming up with defective drugs lists.

So, we oppose this drug war. Where do we start? By booting out bgy officials who came up with the drugs lists.

And we can only boot them out through elections.

And this govt will deny us this right.

So: oppose the drug war vs opposing this postponement of bgy elections. /end
