I guess what I'm saying is, when I say Republicans are fascist, it is because they are literally and overtly a fascist party.
I suppose what I mean by 'a fascist party' is that they have fascist language and ideas and policies and practices and leaders and voters.
I guess that would be my basis for referring to them as fascists.

I'm not a paid historian, but I'm pretty sure the solution for 'fascists' isn't 'don't insult them by calling them fascists.'
