Was having a conversation with a group of attorneys today and it was agreed that pitting Trump's rag-tag cabal of legal stringers against Bob Mueller's all-star team of the nation's top litigators is like making the Washington Generals play the Harlem Globetrotters without shoes.
2/ A lawyer friend on Team Mueller—"Zainab Ahmad has taken down more Al Qaeda members than any U.S. prosecutor. She is scarily good. All 15 are scary. Mueller can send Michael Dreeben to argue 404(b) motions. It's like Ocean's 11. One of them put Arthur Andersen out of business."
3/ And Trump has Jay Sekulow, who... *is* a lawyer... right?

But Cobb, Dowd, McGahn, Cohen, Kasowitz—it's been a parade of fools who (and I don't even mean this that unkindly) are *way* out of their league when it comes to facing down Mueller's Murderer's Row of legal all-stars.
