So @DPJHodges has written a piece in the Mail pointing out (correctly) that.Corbyn's Labour has successfully achieved the mainstreaming of anti- Jewish discourse.
It's in the Mail & written by Dan so will be derided & ignored.

I’m not belittling Dan, his article or those who are now sharing it when i say: “this is not news to us”.
By us, I mean Jews.

Look, i don’t want to sound ungrateful, but we have lived with this our entire lives.

From the “Yid” chants in the playground, to the “stand up so the rest of the class can see what a Jew looks like” stuff from teachers, to the fact that from the age of about 15 we realized that in our Leftist student groups the 1 thing you didn’t raise was the fact we were Jewish

From the hostility of the SWP, the hostility of SSiN (remember them), the casual huge assumptions dropped about Israel. The constant drip, drip, drip in the Guardian, Independent, LRB.

The fact that we have friends who are shocked when we object to their comment that “everyone knows that Israel was behind 9/11 - haven’t you heard about the dancing Jews or read the Boiling Frogs site?”

We’re totally used to finding that friends, colleagues, associates (and sometimes very well known liberal musicians who we worked with - hello Nitin Sawhney) consider that the Jews are behind many of the ills of the world - and possibly all of them.

We’re completely used to the utter silence. We’re used to knowing that the best way to get by is to be as invisible as possible.
You all love us when we behave like that.
You all love the “don’t scare the horses” type of Jews - you’re used to it.

We know that NO ONE LIKES A CHIPPY JEW.

I mean - with all due respect Dan - we’ve lived the dream. We know all this.

We know we have to explain to our kids that the history teacher with the Palestine flag on the wall but no State of Israel flag might not be your friend.

We know that our children may come home and tell us that “our supply teacher told us that Hitler hated the Jews because they were too rich & powerful”.

We know all this.
It ain’t news.

We know that the vast majority of populations don’t care. How do we know this? Well, because we have elderly family members who are still in mourning for aunts, uncles, cousins that were liquidated in full view of general populations.

We know all this and much, much more.

It ain’t news. None of it is news.

The only thing that might be news is that despite all this, we wake up every day like little puppies, all expectant and knowing that good things are about to happen.

Then 5 seconds later we know they aren’t and we go back to just knowing.

No without wanting to piss on your pot plants on this bright Sunday morning - i’m way past thinking that a piece by Dan, me or anyone else means anything to pretty much anyone.

I hate to be the one to point out to the good folk of Twitter that after millennia of oppression, murder, vitriol, humiliation and the small fact that just a few decades ago 1 third of us were exterminated -we have actually grasped the fact that people generally do not like Jews.

And - hold the front page here - it turns out that those millennia of bad things happened because most people don’t really give a shit, for all kinds of different reasons.
And - wait for it - some of those people who don’t give a shit turn out to be “you”.

I forgot to add: we know that those of you who go to church (& most mosques) don’t have to have police guards like we do at my Shul. You think the police pay for that for laughs?
