The people who REALLY need to watch the three undercover Cambridge Analytica videos compiled by @Channel4News aren't Trump critics, but Trump VOTERS. These three videos—under an hour, total, in length—explain EXACTLY how the Trump campaign hoodwinked Republican voters nationwide.
2/ Trump's scheme: secretly steal personal voter data via social media; weaponize it via micro-targeted, anonymous, untraceable digital content; play upon, in that content, not your policy views but your deepest fears—stolen from you for use as "psy-ops" by Trump and his cronies.
3/ The coup de grâce: as of June 1, 2016, Trump and his campaign knew the Russians were working to help Trump get elected. That means he knew Russian hackers, WikiLeaks, Russian fake news websites, and even Russian plants in the U.S. were assisting his digital marketing campaign.
4/ Layered atop this graft was not just a patina but a frosting of abject BS—lies, not just a few but many lies daily, told to the American voter by the candidate himself. So many lies, in fact, that the media literally couldn't keep up and keep the candidate honest—no one could.
5/ But let's be clear: all this domestic disinformation—all this warfare against American voters—*didn't* win Trump the battle of ideas. He lost it—by millions of votes. So he orchestrated FBI leaks, played up Russian leaks, and manufactured scandals to win the Electoral College.
6/ The evidence suggests Cambridge Analytica may also have been an illegal conduit between Trump and Super PACs—with Trump echoing the language from the ads Cambridge Analytica was anonymously orchestrating while simultaneously meeting many times with the Cambridge Analytica CEO.
7/ We know Cambridge Analytica met with Russians; we know the man who gave American voters' data to Cambridge Analytica had funding from Russia; we know Cambridge Analytica messaging was seamlessly picked up by secretly Russian-run pro-Trump propaganda sites—so a pattern emerges.
8/ And above all this scheming—above the lies, untraceable propaganda, potential secret ties between Trump and Super PACs, and so on—were two right-wing billionaires who were rewarded post-election and a candidate who integrated his messaging with Kremlin meddling at every turn.
9/ Despite this, Trump lost with voters. He ended up in the White House by 40,000 votes—40,000 voters micro-targeted by Cambridge Analytica *and* Russian propagandists in a way that makes one wonder how the Russians seemed to have the same data as Trump's Cambridge Analytica did.
10/ Never forget that the question of whether Trump's campaign *wanted* to conspire with Russia is settled: it did. We have the Trump Jr. emails to prove it. And the question of whether Trump wanted Russian interference to succeed is *also* settled: we have the video to prove it.
CONCLUSION/ Trump wanted Russian crimes to succeed in interfering with our election; was willing to conspire with Russia; ran a digital campaign that mirrored the Kremlin's propaganda campaign; and lied repeatedly about his ties to Russia and his campaign's ties.

*Do the math*.
