So why do they persist with a lie? B/c the ref was advisory. Brexit was supposed to be May's policy decision, then for Parliament's scrutiny. But Brexit is a stupid policy. May didn't want to own it or have Parliament scrutinize it. Easier to bypass this procedure w *ppl decided*
*Cameron promised to implement* is irrelevant to the legal position. Legislation was only for advisory ref. May overrode the legal status of an Act of Parliament, illegal in itself IMO & bypassed the req't to give notice to EU *in accordance with [UK] constitutional requirements*
This is hugely important. As a policy decision, Brexit would not pass genuine parliamentary scrutiny; it removes our rights in EU membership to trade, work, retire, research & many other benefits. On impact analysis, UK would be poorer or much poorer. Leavers' arguments crumble.
We already are sovereign. We already can trade with the world. We can even limit EU immigration, but gov't decided against it. So Leavers fall back on *The people decided* & that too is a lie. But in following through with that lie, May breached the conditions of #Article50
If May did not give notice *in accordance with [UK] constitutional requirements*, the Brexit clock is not ticking; we are as we were on 22 June 2016. Of course Gov't & Parliament can start from the beginning, but they would have to do it properly, not the sleight of hand we had.
Maybe because the public - even Remainers - are tired of Brexit; maybe because Remainers *accept the result* and take the different route of #FinalSay;
Maybe because this case is harder to understand than election fraud, it hasn't got the attention or the crowdfunding it merits.

As with the Australian cricket team caught cheating, so too the Leave campaign are exposed as lying, admitted by campaigner to affect result. Now charge that electoral spending rules were manipulated, & evidence apparently destroyed. #A50Challenge would be the nail in the coffin.
If the British are truly fair & honest, then Leavers should accept that Brexit is a fraud; they did not *win* for any one of a number of reasons. With notable exceptions, Parliament & the media did not serve the people or democracy.
