It took 242yrs.
Somehow that doesn't register with folks as a huge issue: that folks STILL want to invalidate HRC's accomplishments to refute what was done to her: A stolen presidency.
Why not?
Why did we just accept that states that hadn't voted #GOP in decades had narrowly--mere thousands, less than a half percent of votes--gone red?
This question will be part of the historical record and will not treat it kindly. The men--because no women were/are in power--who could have done something to address this did not.
Disgraceful.
America needs a woman POTUS to have someone, just once, speak for the 52%, the majority, the women of this country.
We all remember that amazing photo of the little black boy touching Obama's hair in the Oval.
We were cheated--literally--of little girls having a similar moment.
And yet, the focus is STILL on #HillaryClinton.
Every week some center left or left publication--this week it was @TheAtlantic--claims Hillary is the real danger to America.
The obsession with #HillaryClinton is endemic to all political strata.
And they have.
There will he hearings about her this week.
Seriously.
Like in Russia.
Stalinesque.
And the left & center, which should be outraged, is meh.
But the mostly women and POC who say the same about #HillaryClinton are dismissed and demeaned and told to "get over it."
We should never get over the injustice of this.
▪No one fought for the 1st woman nominee.
▪No one fought for the woman who got more votes than anyone in US history except Obama 2008.
▪No one fought for the person 3M more Americans voted for.
You have to keep asking why--though you know.
