1/ What happened in the Lords isn't going to 'undo brexit' or 'defy the will of the people' but it does put all the options back on the table which Mrs May rejected without much apparent thought: news.sky.com/story/shock-de…
2/ we need now to find a 'Golilocks Brexit' acceptable to the majority of the British people, but also something the EU can accept. 
3/ on the 'too hot' side we have Brexit in name only BINO - this would be unacceptable to all leave voters - this would probably mean ecj oversight, CU membership and EEA membership. It would solve the Irish border issues however and EU would accept it.
4/ on the 'too cold' side we would have either a basic FTA or wto-only brexit. Economically very harmful, job losses, damage to the City of London, UK aviation, science etc. Plus it would guarantee a hard border in Ireland and no remainer would support it.
5/ in the 'just right' area we have a narrow band of options for the UK. We would suggest these would be either EFTA/EEA 🇳🇴🇮🇸🇱🇮 or EFTA/Association Agreement +DCFTA probably docked to EFTA Court. Majority could accept it and would solve most Irish border issues at a stroke.
6/ these goldilocks options would mean we would gain back control of fishing waters, regain our WTO seat and be able to sign our own Free Trade Agreements around the world. But we could still participate in beneficial European programmes and trade with EU markets.
