Read the story of the of 8-month-old Layla Ghandour, who died after breathing Israeli tear gas when her grandmother was holding her in the #GreatReturnMarch protest camp, 100s of meters away from the #GazaFence. By @declanwalsh

And if you want to see how does it look like when the new Israeli tear gas drones attack the #GreatReturnMarch protest camps, where families stay 100s of meters away from the #GazaFence, here is an example
#ICYMI:
@IDFSpokesperson admitted: #GreatReturnMarch is Palestinian PR success. But soldiers killed 100 protesters & nothing changed in Gaza.
Israel says Hamas doesn't want war.
Yesterday there were no protests
but more shots were fired at Israel than since the protests begun.
Over 3,000 Palestinians were shot by Israeli snipers since the #GreatReturnMarch started on March 30. Here is a glimpse at the damage those sniper bullets are causing
#ICYMI Israeli media made headlines from Hamas official bragging that 50 of the 60 protesters killed Monday were "Hamas members".
2 questions:
1. Are we supposed to believe Hamas now?
2. How does their political affiliation change the fact that they were shot unarmed
More on the same subject:
#watch: a man with his face blurred repeating Israeli propaganda in Arabic
And a #thread about the latest Israeli ppropaganda efforts. Amid all the noise, please rememer 1 thing: Israel haven't provided evidence that the any of the 100+ protesters shot to death by Israeli snipers were armed
Dear Israeli snipers, were you that afraid of a 14-year-old girl carrying wire cutters that you had to shoot her in the head?
#reminder: @IDFSpokesperson claims every sniper bullet shot is approved by a senior army officer

#update: since the #GreatReturnMarch started, 2 journalists in Gaza were killed & 137 wounded, 30 of them from Israeli live fire. Reporters Without Borders asks ICC to investigate Israel war crimes against journalists - info-graphics via @okbi7b
Recognize?
"a crowd of about 5,000 to 7,000 protesters went to the *****. The ***** opened fire on the crowd, killing 69 people. Some state that the crowd had been hurling stones at the ****, & that the shooting started when the crowd started advancing toward the fence"
humanitarian coordinator: "The situation in Gaza is devastating & the crisis is far from over. For every person killed & injured, there is a family and a network of friends affected... the impacts of recent violence will be felt for months and years to come"
In which Hamas acknowledges having contacts with the Israeli government (& Israeli reports say more than prisoner exchange was discussed)
#clarification: the #GreatReturnMarch is a civil protest movement supported by all Palestinian factions. Hamas endorsed it & tries to take credit for it for 2 reasons:
To gain points in the fight against the PA
To quell criticism inside #Gaza about the way it runs the Strip
Oh, & a new @IDFSpokesperson video "summarizes" what the 1000s of cameras around the #GazaFence captures past 8 weeks in #Gaza.
Notice what's missing:
guns on the Palestinian side
