Des nouvelles de la petite dystopie. Et, également en cours de discussion au niveau législatif mais quasi personne n'en parle, l'obligation quasi généralisée de preuve d'âge en ligne.
Ça couinera inévitablement quand il faudra sortir sa carte d'identité pour créer des comptes Twitter, Youtube, Facebook ou Instagram, voire contribuer sur Wikipédia, mais il sera trop tard.
Entre les délires dont on parle en France, flicage JO, et ceux qui sont sous le radar en France et UE parce que la gauche autoproclamée s'en fout voire soutient -- majorité en ligne, #chatcontrol --, on se prépare -- à la quasi unanimité parlementaire -- des lendemains sinistres.

As a survivor of child sexual and physical abuse, I would never have had the confidence to tell my story if I didn’t have access to confidential communications channels.
It took 25 years for the Police to finally investigate and prosecute my case, leading to multiple convictions for sexual assaults against myself and 27 other boys at my boarding school.
After quite a few months working on the #CSAM proposal, and as the EC's consultation is due to finishing today at midnight, here are my (very personal) thoughts on a draft text that comes from a good place, but could have disastrous consequences : a thread 👇
First and foremost : we are in dire need of action against the systemic sexual abuse of children (CSA). The refit of the 2011 directive is more than urgent, and cooperation between intermediaries, NGOs and Law Enforcement Authorities is needed. No question about that.

In UE siamo alla sesta direttiva e da poco è stato ampliato il pacchetto con alcune proposte ulteriori, come la famigerata "travel rule" anche al settore crypto.

Scansiona il dispositivo e in caso di match positivo allerta un team di persone che verifica e notifica le autorità se necessario.

Indeed, it is now time to fight to defend our privacy, and I'm afraid not so many people will protest to the systematic surveillance that's threatening us because of the new moves from EU parliament that are slowly undermining our privacy under disguise:

Currently providers are only "authorized" to perform the said surveillance, but it seems there are already plans to render such surveillance mandatory, legally binding the hands of the chat providers and definitively taking away our right to having safe, private conversation !
Majority of the European Parliament welcomes the Commission's intention to oblige e-mail, messaging and chat providers to search all private messages for allegedly illegal material and report to the police (#chatcontrol) by 580:76:37.
