Visited @LincolnBirthNPS small but informative! Expanded my knowledge of #Lincoln from his @LincolnBoyhood to his #loncolnsbirthplace. #nationalparks #travelblogger #kentucy #MidWest
Stopped by @visitbardstown and @JimBeam I didn’t have a good experience at #JimBeam. In line to check out two bottles #burbonwhisky on the 2nd floor but the cashier just ignored us as he was talking to another group of customers endlessly. We had to go downstairs🌚

Canada is the world's second-largest country after Russia. The country stretches across 3.8 million square miles (9.9 million square kilometres). Canada is almost equal in size to China (9,596,961 sq km), but its proximity to the North Pole makes it look much larger than China.
The area north of the treeline: 2,728,800 km2, over 27% of Canada's total area.
Canada's land border: 8,890-km border with the United States, is the longest international border in the world.
#Canada is divided into numerous geographical zones. Average elevation is 487 m above sea level. The highest mountain peak (Mount Logan) is at 5,959 meters. The country has 52,455 mostly uninhabited islands in the open sea. #geography

#Ticketmaster's spectacular failure to sell tickets to Taylor Swift's first tour in five years revived scrutiny of the ticketing/venue/promotion/management monopoly, especially the #JunkFees the company sucks out of fans' pockets:

What's a junk fee? It's all the crap that Ticketmaster tacks onto the cost of your ticket, like a "convenience fee" for using a credit card. Once all these fees are assessed, *78% of the price of some tickets* is just fees.

Trump’s “border crisis” is a fraud, the wall is a wasteful and ineffective way to secure the border, and the only national emergency here is the damage Trump’s fragile ego is doing to the country.

From Yellowstone to Joshua Tree, Everglades to Shenandoah here in Virginia, our #NationaParks are a treasured part of America’s natural history and heritage. #NationalParksWeek

Virginia ranks 5th in terms of states with the greatest need for maintenance. Over $800 million in deferred maintenance has left Shenandoah, Jamestown, Fredericksburg, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and other national parks in need of significant repairs.
