1/10 The majority of Germans during Hitler were not active Nazis. They just went with it, so as to not risk their own material (and what they thought emotional) wellbeing.
2/ Active Nazis were a sizeable minority. Those people, that have no moral compass, that feel no shame in harming others, probably exist in any society. A healthy society keeps them in check. They might not even know they would become Nazis, given the "right" circumstances.
3/ Even given the "opportunity", most of these people won't really "enjoy" harming others. They will justify before themselves that it "has to be done" to achieve a "greater end".
4/ Heinrich Himmler did not frolic about massacring jews. He told his killers that this would be a tough, dirty job. That their inner being would revolt against it. But that it was NECESSARY, for the benefit of future generations.

5/ You wonder, when will the "Christian" supporters of Trump/GOP "wake up"? Realize that ripping children from parents that did nothing wrong is something they can't justify before themselves?
6/ I think that may never happen. I think these people would cheer on the Trump Train all the way down to the gas chambers. Yes, that's a shame that these poor kids have to die. That the brown people have to die.
7/ But if that's the only way to save our way of life, of worshipping Jesus? If otherwise, the Muslicans will overrun our society, and establish Chariza Law? Then yes, it has to be done.
8/ What's the best way to deal with this? Don't let it get so far that these people feel they can live this out. That's too late now, obviously. The Nazis are in the White House.
9/ So what now? Be honest to yourself. Extrapolate what this trajectory would lead to in five years, if unchecked. Then fight as if you were already living there.
10/10 Don't say, "Oh, but they haven't built gas chambers yet!" They will do that as soon as they feel they are safe to do it. You have to stop them now, before they manage to get to that point.
