Okay, I retweeted a bunch of stuff about the companies profiting off separating immigrant children from their parents and it was chaotic, so let me put it in a context thread.
First: various groups have been working to determine which companies are involved in separating children from their parents and keeping them in detention centers. They've made progress (from publicly available information).
In addition to objecting, we need to be demanding answers to some questions. One of the most pressing ones is:

WHERE ARE THE GIRLS?

We've seen parents being detained. We've seen facilities where little boys are being kept. Where are the girls?
And given that we know that they've already handed off children to sex traffickers, the absence of the girls in all of this is chilling.

So, what do we do? We follow the money.
What's the point of this? Making the status quo unbearable to them.
And why is it so important? Because the consequences for these kids are lifelong.
So, what do we do?

First: follow these accounts, which are both seeking out and aggregating/sharing information:

twitter.com/slpng_giants
twitter.com/shannoncoulter
Second: Email the stakeholders in the companies involved. Let them know that what they are doing is unconscionable.
Short notice, but if you're in the El Paso, TX area you can probably catch up with and join this march:
So, General Dynamics:

This is the CEO. Please email her, and let her know (in a polite and businesslike manner) that what her company is doing is unconscionable.
Go ahead and tweet at the company, too: twitter.com/GDMS
And here are the email addresses of their PR team. Make this a PR nightmare.
More General Dynamics PR email addresses:
And remember: making it a PR nightmare for companies to be associated with Trump has worked before. Make it a PR nightmare to separate children from their parents and keep them in dog crates.
Next contractor involved in detaining immigrant children and separating them from their parents: twitter.com/MVMINC

And there's also Southwest Key, which is a nonprofit, and was supposedly "conflicted" about what they're doing.
As it turns out, they're not conflicted, they're terrible.
They signed a lease for a new detention center. If you can find out who offered them that lease, please do and share.
Update: looks like the owners of the property being leased as a new detention center have been found: sohmission.org/about-us/board…

Might want to let them know separating children from their parents isn't very Christian.
So. Let them know that what they're doing is unacceptable.

Next, if you are represented by a Republican senator, get on the phone and demand that they REPRESENT YOU.
If you are a journalist, or you have family members or friends who are journalists, we need them to investigate:
One last company owning and operating shelters.
Last but certainly not least: ActBlue has aggregated donations for groups helping the separated families.
So. Please do as many of these things as you can, but at the very least do ONE of them:
-FOLLOW accounts investigating this and SHARE info
-EMAIL the companies involved
-CALL your senators
-DONATE to organizations helping the kids and families being separated
