So today went like this. There was a knock at the door. I open the door and a woman is stood there crying telling me that she had no food.

So I let her in, made her a cuppa and gave her my dinner which was soup. She hadn’t ate properly for 2 days

After giving her some soup I asked her what had happened. She told me that her bank had taken all her money of her because of bank charges

To make it worse she has also been sanctioned £10 a day for a non specified amount of time because she failed to attend an appointment at the Jobcentre.

She suffers from depression amongst other things and finds life hard to cope with. She hadn’t realised that she could and should have phoned her advisor up to re make the appointment.

But to be honest they’d have most likely sanctioned her anyway

She couldn’t attend her esa medical assement because of her illness but was also too scared to ask anyone for help.

So she’s trapped in a home with children with no ears of survival because the whole system is against her and everyone else like her

I telephoned her bank up on her behalf and they’ve agreed to repay some of the money back but it’s still not enough to survive on.

I did a full financial health check with her the best that I could (she was distressed) and she cancelled all unnecessary direct debits.

I then helped her put in a request for a mandatory reconsideration of her sanction and advised her to make a new claim for the disability element of UC. She can’t cope with UC.

I gave her enough food for a few days and hopefully will help her out again later this week. I will also try to help her with everything else.

Meanwhile because her sanction will now trigger a change of circumstances I will have to ensure that she contacts our local council to make sure that she can clai her housing and council tax benefit. She will forget otherwise

And she has to make sure that her children will continue to receive their free school meals.

Thousands of people are suffering like this every single day. Disabled people thrown off their only means of survival and thrown onto Universal Credit because their illness prevents them from fighting back.

I’ll make sure that she is ok, but thousands of extremely vulnerable people are suffering. The government reckons that this is ok because they are ‘lazy’, ‘workshy’ and ‘scroungers’. No they are not, they are disabled. Get it. Disabled.

Thousands of people are hungry as you read this. Thousands of children are hungry are hungry also. Our government literally wants to starve children, over in America Trump is caging them. Why do they hate children so much. They are children for fucks sake.

We have right wing rags like the @TheSun telling the public that the poor, disabled etc are all scroungers etc and that immigrants are rich. This is not true. They are vulnerable people that need help not hate.

When you think about it the UK government aren’t much worse than Trump. They haven’t caged children up yet but they are depriving them of food, housing, warmth, access to basic hygiene, a decent education, clothing... The list goes on and on

Children are precious and should be loved, nurtured and given the best start in life. If you are a child from a poor family its hard, damn hard to provide anything bar the essentials. Thankfully love is free.

So when I’m asked as to why I hate the government so much this is why.
1. They treat disabled and poor people like criminals.
2. They are taking food, homes, and everything that they can away from our children. All the odds are stacked against them.

3. They treat unemployed people with disdain and care not if they survive sanctions etc.
4. They are selling our NHS to the highest bidder (its nearly gone btw)
5. They are depriving local authorities with the means of supplying decent services especially Labour controlled ones

6. They robbed our women of their rightful pensions. That makes my blood boil.
7. They want to frack anywhere they can. We will stop them btw.
8. They are ruining our education system and have more or less taken away most adult education

I really don’t want to go on too much but you get what I’m saying don’t you.
