So here's a thread with a bunch of value and shit.
~ 7 sales-strangling myths of online business ~
While true, people think that this means starting a blog, social media accounts, etc. No. There's only one way to make $$ online. And that's by selling things. Products or services. That's it.
To make $$, sell something.
NOTHING sells itself. No matter how "great" it is. You know what does sell it? Marketing. Without marketing, you have nothing. You could sell a shit product with great marketing.
This doesn't work the other way around.
I thought this at first too. It's 112% false. This comes back to marketing. If you can find something that's already working and market it better, you can make a lot of $$.
Marketing is the lifeblood of any business.
Yes, it can be. But it doesn't have to be. My personal brand is an online business. It's very simple. I tweet. I push people to my email list. I write daily emails. And I sell things in those emails.
Don't overcomplicate things.
No. It's not. It's the exact same. Just online. You have an offer. And you send traffic (people) to it. It's the same online as it is for a grocery store.
Good traffic + good offer = $$
Again, don't overcomplicate things.
No. You just haven't made time. An hour of focused work per day is plenty. I spend less than that on my Shopify store. Do the right things consistently and they quickly add up.
Use your time effectively.
Go to my website. Look at it. It's a single page. I've put almost ZERO work into it. Because I don't need to. The only thing you need is an offer and people to sell it to (traffic to an offer).
This does NOT require a website.
