I am tired of the blame being laid on gerrymandered red states as Trump stocks his admin with NYC tycoons and is cheered on by a coastal sleazeball press.

I've been watching for 18 months as MO fights back. This includes the constant activism of St Louis, the rising pushback in the Ozarks, the areas that flipped blue, and the tireless efforts of activists you never see because they're too busy helping people and registering voters.
People are "shocked" by special elections going Dem in red states because they don't see, or care about, the work being done -- often by unpaid women.
They didn't care about Midwest suffering before the election either. They didn't care about how corruption hurt ordinary people.

These media narratives of neat red and blue, the endless apologism for bigots, the repeated apathy toward mass progressive protest -- it's bullshit.
I'm grateful for those who focus on helping the most vulnerable instead of fitting political paradigms.
