and yes this is why it's specifically the changes to the supreme court that are triggering this reaction. once we've established a legal precedent that it's fine to discriminate against trans people, it's going to be extremely hard to reverse that trend
and with trump appointing a new justice, I'm having trouble imagining a scenario where that doesn't happen
