1. What to Expect When You're Expecting a Supreme Court Justice
2. The fight now takes on a calendar of its own. Demand Justice is partnering for a Week of Action this week with groups that include Indivisible, MoveOn, Planned Parenthood and NARAL. And groups that support abortion rights will be back with a Day of Action on Aug. 26.
3. On the conservative side, the Judicial Crisis Network will launch an introductory bio spot tomorrow about the nominee on national cable and on TV in Alabama, Indiana, North Dakota and West Virginia.
4. And from the left, NARAL & Demand Justice plan a SAVESCOTUS rally on the steps of the Supreme Court tonight to react in real time to Trump's announcement.
Demand Justice is already up with a Roe-focused ad in the home states of Sen Collins of Maine and Sen Murkowski of Alaska.
5. Later this week, Demand Justice will go on TV in red states to bolster Democratic Sens. Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota, Joe Donnelly of Indiana and Joe Manchin of West Virginia.
6. Supreme Court math is harder for Republicans this time than it was when Gorsuch was confirmed.
Enjoy the (relatively) quiet day. After 9:00pm today, the donkey honk town will be alive with the sound of outrage, no matter who the nominee for SCOTUS is.
Okay, time to place your bets. From what I am hearing from people in the know, it's Brett Kavanaugh -- a superb conservative choice.
Brett Kavanaugh it is indeed!

Brett Kavanaugh worked under Ken Starr, the special counsel who investigated Bill Clinton. Bob Woodward wrote a detailed article on Kavanaugh in 1999 titled "A Prosecutor Bound by Duty."

Excerpt:
Judge Brett Kavanaugh is looking better by the minute. This from Axios:
As for Judge Kavanaugh's conservative credentials, here you go.
I trust Ilya Shapiro's judgment on matters related to the Supreme Court.
