Here's a question: how can we say that a transgender person "feels like" or "identifies with" the opposite gender while at the same time saying that there aren't any feelings, attributes, or characteristics necessarily associated with either gender?
How can we say that a man is really a woman because he feels feminine while at the same time saying that femininity has nothing to do with womanhood?
"I realized that my son is a girl because he likes dolls and dresses." But wait. I thought liking dolls and dresses is irrelevant to the female identity.
We say that a woman's body parts do not make her a woman. Then we also say that her feminine tendencies and proclivities do not make her a woman. Well, what in the hell is a woman then, and how can a man possibly discover that he is one?
Maybe I should make this question very simple for the Left: What is a woman? What is a man? They are not defined by biology, you say, and they are not defined by their behaviors and feelings. Ok, then by what are they defined? Please explain.
Last question: if gender is a social construct, but a man who goes outside of the "man" construct thus becomes a woman, have we not then prevented men from going outside the construct by claiming that their rejection of the construct makes them women?
