Ok, first up G-Suite. All good stuff. Given UK Gov (Cab Office) started along this path in 2013(? someone will have to remind me), I'm biased.
Lots of AI and AutoML, all interesting stuff ... at somepoint, I'll need to find time to do a comparison of Sagemaker vs AutoML.
Hybrid is the future, so is kubernetes, so is containers ... your choice, be future proof ... my heart is skinking ... but suddenly ... moving up the stack, mention of serverless, mgmt of services ... oh, now it's getting interesting. More please.
Yeahhh!!!
Serverless, Google Functions as GA, Knative, GKE add-on ... finally! The demo starts with ... a docker file, now we're onto containers and cluster mgmt ... wtf. Get back on message.
Now we're onto a marketplace of containers for your kubernetes cluster ... oh, please hit me with some serverless.
Now we're onto demos on cloud security and migration with strategic partners ... well, at least they mentioned they had made Google Functions GA ... no discussion, no description, no demo, no focus and don't blink, it's easy to miss. I'm hoping for more, there is time.
Ok, maps and patterns ... well, that's an easy win for me. I love maps whether of competition in business or geographic. I could spend all day listening about Google maps and their platform. Huge win for me. Loving this.
Oh, this entire keynote on Google Maps is fabulous ... inspiring, focused, engaging, showing the potential ... the absolute stand out keynote of the event so far. Loving it.
TPU edge and Cloud IoT edge look interesting. Not my space though, I'll have to ask @simoncrosby for his thoughts.
