Dundee United Banter Era Thread: 2015 - Present day. 
It all started on the 2nd February 2015 when the best 2 players at the club, Gary Mackay-Steven and Stuart Armstrong both left for Celtic on the same day
3rd April 2015 - It is revealed that manager Jackie McNamara had a clause in his contract where he received a cut of the transfer fees the club got from sold players. The fee's were rumoured to be up to 500,000
8th April 2015 - The departure of GMS and Armstrong led to a bad run of results, including losing a Dundee Derby for the first time in 10 years, in which goalkeeper Radoslaw Cierzniak did this
24th May 2015 - United end the 2014/15 with a 3-0 win in the 4th dundee Derby in the season, but still miss out on European football due to St Johnstone beating Aberdeen 1-0
9th July 2015 - Yet another crucial player leaves for Celtic as striker Nadir Ciftci went for £1.5m. He was replaced by former Ajax striker Darko Bodul who scored 0 goals in 11 appearances
26th July 2015 - United sign Rodney Sneijder (brother of Wesley) on a two-year deal. He claimed he had turned down Galatasaray to sign for United.
11th August 2015 - United start the season off the a loss at home vs Aberdeen and an away win vs Hamilton. Dundee derby #1 was up next and United bottle a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with the equaliser coming in the dying seconds
15th August 2015 - Mangaer Jackie McNamara says we are losing points by "fine margins". A week later we lose 4-0 away against Hamilton fucking Accies. Jackie decides to slag off fans on social media instead of explaining why his team lost 4-0 to Hamilton fucking Accies
25th August 2015 - Rodney Sneijder leaves United after just 1 game and only 1 month into a two-year contract due to a "viral infection". He was seen in Ibiza not long after
1st September 2015 - After a bad start to the league, we bring in Adam Taggart and Aaron Kuhl on loan from Fulham and Reading respectively. Both were gone by December, with Kuhl being remembered more for looking like a David Luiz cosplayer than for anything he did on the pitch
26th September 2015 - Poor results continue and after a 2-1 loss away at St Johnstone in which we were 1-0 up and playing against 10 men for the majority of the game, McNamara is sacked
14th October 2015 - Mixu Paatelainen is appointed manager after we fail to lure Tommy Wright or John Hughes to the job
25th October 2015 - Mixu gets off to a bad start with a 1-0 loss to Hearts and a 5-0 loss to Celtic, in which afterwards he said this
2nd November 2015 - United agree to sign Japanese international goalkeeper Eiji Kawashima, but the deal is delayed due to a work permit
20th November 2015 - We re-sign Irish defender Gavin Gunning on a deal until the end of the season. We'll come back to this one later...
27th November 2015 - We sign former Liverpool and Atletico Madrid striker Florent Sinama-Pongolle. He gets injured 10 minutes into his debut against Partick Thistle and leaves the club at the end of the season with 0 goals
29th December 2015 - Kawashima is finally granted a work permit and joins until the end of the season just in time to make his long awaited debut 3 days later in Dundee derby #2. And of course to mark the occasion he had to cock up for one of the goals as we went on to lose 2-1
13th January 2016 - With the team bottom of the league by a fair few points and in desperate need of new faces, we bring in Finnish international Riku Riski on loan. He left in March after 1 game and 0 goals
20th March 2016 - Dundee derby #3 and once again it ends 2-2, this time roles reversed as United come back from 2-0 down after Dundee keeper Scott Bain is sent off. Mixu does this after the equaliser and rumours fly round Twitter that he was arrested after the match
9th April 2016 - We lose 2-0 to Inverness at home, all but confirming our relegation. Mid-match, Gavin Gunning literally just decides to pick up the ball and walk off the pitch for... some reason
2nd May 2016 - And of course everything lines up perfectly so that Dundee relegate us at their own ground in derby #4, winning 2-1 with a last minute winner. The ultimate banter era moment
3rd May 2016 - Mixu is sacked and it is announced that most of the squad will be leaving at the end of the season
10th May 2016 - Already relegated, we drew 3-3 with Partick Thistle in a match where club captain Sean Dillon kicked the ball off his own face to set up Kris Doolan to score
12th May 2016 - Raith manager Ray McKinnon is appointed manager and the man tasked with building a squad to get us back up first time of asking. The start of a new beginning?
