Tangent: one of the things I'm trying to pull myself out of a years-long writing slump is just make up 10-12 OCs and write "fanfic" about them. And it fascinates me that I have a strong enough idea of fanfic that I can do it without a separate IP to "fan."
Just make up a setting and some OCs, and start writing various contradictory pairings, "the good stuff," the atmospheric or dramatic stuff, and see if anything comes out of it. And maybe those scenes are a characterization experiment that I discard later.
So I finally just went, fuck it, I'm a tiny speck and I'm going to have fun whether anyone ever sees this or not--but I'm going to set the concept up so that I CAN use it later if I want.
So this is what I've been lying in bed on a heating pad tapping out on my phone to the tune of 1000s of words while my back recovered from the umpteen times I re-strained it this summer. Autocorrect has fought me THE WHOLE DAMN WAY
I'm back at my laptop today, it's very exciting. I'm going to see if I can clear off my desk (clothes live there right now) and work there again without hurting anything. I will probably end up back on the heating pad now and then, c'est la vie.
I also think I'm a bit hypomanic, possibly as I adjust to the new medication doses in the longterm, so you get ~THREADS~
