@thehill After a year of trying all legal means to have this deposition quashed, a new opportunity arose. NV had been denied a US visa on the grounds that her presence wasn’t required while Browder had the court tied in legal argument. The next hearing was scheduled for 9 June 2016.
@thehill On the day that her house and presumably her was being watched by a Browder associate, she was suddenly granted a visa, it was a simple matter, once he set up the meeting using Rob Goldstone as the go between, to alert Jonathan Winer to inform Christopher Steele of the meeting.
@thehill The telling point is that despite clear foreknowledge, the meeting was not leaked until after 10 May 2017, the day the Prevezon Case was settled, due to Browder’s his lack to credibility on the stand. Steele had given the FBI the “trigger” for the first FIZA warrant.
@thehill Particularly disturbing, Browder then embarked on a smear campaign against Veselnitskaya and Glenn Simpson. In recent days, he has used the fact that the Prevezon hearing was on the day of the meeting, to insinuate that Simpson gave Steele the info about the meeting.
