Trump keeps saying that under him, unemployment among African Americans is the lowest in history. Not true. We didn't even start measuring Af-Am unemployment until 1972.
Also, Trump was handed a good economy, while Obama was handed recession. Obama had to do more and did.
Economists note that unemployment rates had been falling before Trump took office & their declines don't appear to have picked up speed. This implies that there's nothing specific that Trump did to change this rate.
Indeed, these rates have been falling relatively steadily since around 2010, early in President Obama's tenure in the White House.
Lastly, Trump is taking health care, supporting voter suppression, stacking courts with extreme judges, cutting public education, & resisting living wages—all policies that hurt African-Americans.
