Good luck with that. The overwhelming likelihood is that the EAW will simply fall away: and cue howls of outrage when terrorist/child abuse suspects are not extradited to the UK
(BTW I agree with many of @ThinkEmily’s points. But this piece is another example of a refusal by Brexiters to be frank about trade offs: if we insist on a judicial process before extraditing those wanted abroad, abroad will insist on the same process before extraditing to us.)
(And anyone who says “but our criminal process is so good and fair, nobody will ever refuse to extradite to us” should be forced to copy out @BarristerSecret’s book 15 times.)
