2 \ According to the understandings Hamas will stop all attacks against Israel from Gaza and Israel will reopen the border crossings to Gaza to allow transfer of goods and fuel. Israel will also allow Gaza fishermen to fish up to 9 miles from the coast
3 \ The Israeli official told me the understandings came into force today when Israel reopened the Kerem-Shalom crossing completely. The Israeli security cabinet was briefed on the understandings earlier today
