For people saying Brennan couldn't access national security information they seem to forget about Sandy Berger doing just that in 2003 (about 2 years after the Clinton Administration) when he stole classified docs from the National Archives & lied about it realclearpolitics.com/articles/2007/…
They also forget that HR McMaster allowed Susan Rice to maintain her clearance specifically so she could access classified material regarding information she worked on or saw during her time in the Obama Administration. washingtonexaminer.com/hr-mcmaster-to…
Media claims these people can't access classified info (proven wrong by their own reporting). A security clearance is a privilege, not a right. Also, if they have done nothing wrong an interim clearance can be granted almost immediately.

Secretary of Defense Mattis leaving is not the end of the world as the media makes it out to be. While I have respect for Mattis he's not the only person qualified for the job.
Every administration has its stars, and those stars often leave after about 2-3 years and often that's shortly after a midterm election or a presidential election. I think some of the friction that resulted in Mattis leaving was probably applied through John Bolton.
Mattis is an old guard type and believes in long term troop presence even after objectives have been met.

Comey also stated, "all other cases that were prosecuted involved intentional/willful mishandling of information. How does Comey think that classified information ended up on a private server? That IS willful intent because it has to be physically removed from systems.
