Some safety tips I’ve had to adopt to go on a simple run:
🔹I Never run in the same place from one week to the next, or the same time of day– I mix it up
🔹I Never wear my long hair in a ponytail - too easy to grab
🔹My dog comes with me on all runs– so dogs must be allowed

Wardrobe– I wear big, baggy T-shirts or sweatshirts & cover up when I run, even in summer.
What women wear is always scrutinized: even when it’s for health. It’s a billion dollar industry.

When I tell the men in my life about the safety measures we must take to perform simple tasks, they’re shocked. It doesn’t affect men the way it does for women.
It prevents us from participating in life.
It’s why days are called #WomensEqualityDay

Just like they did with Seth Rich, the @GOP is politicizing a tragedy for their political agenda – even going against the family’s wishes who want to grieve.
They don’t care about Mollie Tibbett’s death. Their endgame is to spread

–xenophobia
–discrimination
–fear

It IS a reason to address the Epidemic of violence against women for saying NO to unwanted attention
