This is the moral, intellectual and parenting failure of John McCain in a nutshell
...by which I mean that Megan McCain clearly got the stars-and-stripes-self-promotion-as-superior-to-an-easy-mark thing, and nothing her father or she has experienced would make them pay attention to the push back against "America was always great"
Like, I guarantee McCain's kids would be interested in a "Jeffersonian Dinner and Discussion" and zero of them would have any moment of thinking "I hope it's not the slave quarters kind where you eat in silent mourning for your stolen and raped spouse and children"
