This op-ed is going to make waves, so I'd like to provide context.

First, any GOP lawmaker reading it should demand #impeachment, but THEY WON'T. Because they're all in with Trump.
Second - don't fall for the "integrity," "goodness" or "morality" of whoever wrote this. Just read the lines below to understand these are people who agree with kidnapping and caging babies.
Third - these self-styled patriots know they have a remedy but refuse to invoke it, which makes them 100% complicit in every single thing Trump says or does.

I'm watching Trump, Pelosi, and Schumer bicker about the budget and the wall. This spectacle is beneath the dignity of this country.
Of course I agree with the Dem position, but the fact that we're here is just sad.
For anyone misconstruing my tweet, I'm agreeing with what Nancy Pelosi said: "I don’t think we should have a debate in front of the press on this." The fact that Trump got schooled is a good thing. But the reality is that none of us should want that kind of spectacle.
