Country’s largest freedom park closed to squeeze and harass the United People’s Action rally.

Millions wasted for unnecessary police presence.

Unlike last year, several jeepney routes were also shut down in an apparent PNP effort to pit commuters and motorists against the rallyists.

PNP also stopped, delayed and harassed protesters from Bicol.

Duterte is so afraid of protests.

Motorists and commuters sympathize with the United People’s Action. They are outraged by Duterte’s imposition of higher taxes, higher fares and higher fuel prices — issues raised by protesters against the regime.

By their harassment against the #NeverAgain rally, Duterte and PNP showed the metropolis a foretaste of martial law and reminded how authorities can abuse their power against citizens.

The rally pushed through despite all the PNP fake news and PNP harassment.

Duterte is weaker now than in 2017. He is allied with Marcoses and Arroyo. He has proven himself to be incompetent and a national embarrassment.

Like Marcos, Duterte resorts to “hakot” crowds in the DDS rally that drew only a few hundreds. Partida, hinakot na yan ah.

Meanwhile the broad united front is bigger and more determined. After the United Labor Day rally and the United People’s SONA, today we witnessed the United People’s Action.

More and more people question Duterte’s ability to govern.
