On Julie Swetnick: First, it is very serious as Julie Swetnick has had many jobs in FedGov and gotten a Secret security clearance. Ford's allegations are serious, but her games make it dubious. Ramirez' are laughable (and by themselves don't rise to disqualification, IMO). 1/
I am a very cynical person by nature, so I will look at this with the most cynical view. She may be, in fact, the most credible even if her accusations are the most unbelievable. Also, Avenatti.

Still, here we go. 2/
Paragraph 6: The first meeting is 1980-1981. "Approximately". In summer of 1980 he would have been 15. The connection to Mark Judge is important here. She uses the words "joined at the hip" to assert that anything Judge did, Kavanaugh must be assumed to have done. 3/
Paragraph 6: She's already on a tangent. She's trying to assert the value of Judge's testimony and using phrases like "as it relates to his actions toward women."

Loaded politics already. 4/
Paragraph 7: I'm a little confused on the numbers here. How many parties were:
(a) both Judge and Kavanaugh present (again, why Judge?)
(b) Kavanaugh himself engaging in conduct
(c) does the conduct where "not accepting `no'" mean fondling and grabbing or is that different? 5/
Paragraph 8: "pressing girls against him without their consent" " making crude sexual comments" "speak in a demeaning manner about...specific girls by name".

If that last one is a crime, every woman in America should be in jail. 6/
Can you imagine what this characterization could include? It's insane. For a 15-17 year old kid to make thoughtless remarks? Crude innuendo?

Paragraph 9: "I have been told by other women..." Hearsay. Strike from the record. 7/
Paragraph 9: "I also witnessed such conduct on one occasion in Ocean City, Maryland during `Beach Week'."

What such conduct? Also, doesn't it seem that this woman was in Brett's social circle A LOT?

I mean, a whole lot. 8/
Paragraph 10: "I have reviewed BK's recent claim on Fox News regarding his alleged `innocence'..."

So this was just written, what, yesterday? Telling. 9/
Paragraph 10: "...and lack of sexual activity. ... I witnessed BK consistently engage in excessive drinking and inappropriate contact of a sexual nature..."

1) Drinking is not the issue here. He has not said he didn't drink at all. 10/
2) She has *already established* that in her mind "inappropriate contact of a sexual nature" can include "speaking in a demeaning manner about...specific girls by name."

Weaselly. Specifics or not. 11/
Paragraph 11: "During the years 1981-82" (way to pin it down) "I became aware of efforts by MJ, BK and others to `spike' the `punch'"

(This will take a while.)
First, why quote it that way? "Spike" the "punch"? Either you quote just "spike" or you quote "spike the punch". 12/
Why would just "punch" be in quotes? Was it not punch?

"I became aware"? What does that mean? Did she get intel from the CIA? I heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend you've been spiking the punch? 13/
And what the hell is this conspiracy to spike the punch? It's like the old joke, "How many teenage prep school kids does it take to spike the punch?"

The answer is 1. You only need one. You pour it in. This is not some chemistry experiment. 14/
Paragraph 11: "`spike' the `punch' ... with drugs or grain alcohol"

So, grain alcohol, then?

"so as to cause girls to lose their inhibitions"

Yes, it's called being drunk. Everybody knows about it. We know what it does. 15/
Paragraph 11: "This caused me to purposely avoid the `punch' at these parties."

Again, punch is punch. Why the quotes?

But, yes, you're at a party. People tell you the punch is spiked. So you avoid the punch. Unless you want to get drunk. 16/
In fact, despite the nefarious purpose of spiking punch to get girls to lose their inhibitions, I'm willing to bet that guys drank liberally from it too. At least if my college experience relates to this seemingly similar experience of these high school students. 17/
Paragraph 11: This one I love the most: "I witnessed efforts by MJ, BK and others to `target' particular girls so that they could be taken advantage of; it was usually a girl that was especially vulnerable because she was alone at the party or shy."

They talked to shy girls 18/
She is literally charging "MJ, BK and others" (always the ubiquitous "and others") with going over to shy girls at a party and talking to them.

It's been my experience that shy girls sit alone at a party so that boys *will* go up and talk to them. 19/
"Hi, I see you're sitting alone. I'm Brett. What's your name?"

TARGETER! YOU TARGETED HER!

20/
Sorry, messed up. Paragraph 12 first.

"I also witnessed efforts by MJ, BK and others..."

Always with the and others.

"...to cause girls to become inebriated"

They gave girls a beer? I'll buy that. She doesn't say how. Note the implication. 21/
She first talks about the surreptitiously spiked punch (like her audience are elderly Mormons) and then uses "efforts...to cause girls to be inebriated" language.

Clearly she wants you to make the connection yourself. 22/
