You LEAD with this offer

Don't say "I can do this and this and that and wash your car and walk your dog too"

What's your "hook?"

What's one result you can deliver?

You need to make the result you deliver easy to understand

Don't confuse your clients by telling them you do 15 different things
If you can do 15 things, keep 14 of them in your back pocket

Start with ONE

Then offer the others if it makes sense
I’ve said this multiple times this week

I could give a client 50 different things to do that will ALL grow their business

The hard part is figuring out the #1 thing in that Top 50 list AND putting the other 49 things on hold
Few people do this

You want to do 7 or 8 things at the SAME TIME and that’s why your results suffer

You cannot go ALL IN on 8 different things

Doesn’t work

Especially if you work alone
It’s the same situation with bodybuilding

You can’t specialize in FIVE bodyparts at the same time

You need to pick 1-2 and put the rest on maintenance

I've made several changes this month

- 2 new niches sites
- 3 new VAs
- Cutting daily emails down to 3
- Increase focused on paid group coaching
- Updated positioning

And more..

But I don't consider them changes

The point is to continuously EVOLVE over time
A lot of young people and new business owners get stagnant

You're not consciously evolving or growing

It's not going to happen every day

And a year is too long for a meaningful feedback loop

But I'm sure you can make progress every single week

Yes - EVERY week
Birthdays are only once a year

New Year's is only once a year

Summer is only once a year

We like to think about our lives during these events

But they don't happen often

Shorter feedback loops will force you to grow faster

THREAD // Making Friends Is Easier Than You Think

Had a great time with @MyLatinLife @NomadicHustler and @_RobORourke at dinner last night

It's easy when you're in school

But a lot of people seem to have trouble making new friends as they get older
The school environment is conducive to friendship because you spend so much time together

You share classes, activities and meals together so it's easy to find your tribe

Because you're younger, your standards are also low

You haven't refined who you are and what you want
As you get older and finish school, you're not really forced to be anywhere except work (if you work in an office)

A lot of people struggle with making new friends because they don't SEEK OUT additional activities that put them in environments where they can make friends

So we ran experiments on Mechanical Turk to explore these human-algorithm interactions.

One key takeaway is that the Southern Strategy-fueled consolidation of racists into the GOP was incomplete until the Democrats put a black man in the White House.
Another takeaway is that white Democrats getting “woke by Trump” is an empirical fact. A klansman in the White House was as eye-opening to progressive whites as a black man in the White House was to racist whites.
That’s what I was getting at when I called Trump the GOP’s abusive “inside face”. The mask is off. White male supremacy runs on denial, and for a lot of us that denial has been at least a little pierced.

Reward Risk Ratio = Average Profit Per Trade / Average Loss Per Trade

If Success Rate is 0.5 and Reward Risk 2, Then

Expectancy = 2 x 0.5 =1

For Making Profit, Expectancy Should Be Positive Number (2/n)
To Calculate Expectancy, You Need Defined System With Rules To Get Success Rate and Reward Risk. If You Have No System To Take Decisions, You Are Hanging In Thin Air and Will Never No Whether You Will Keep Making Or Loosing Money In Future (3/n)

So, lot of people (women, mostly) in the media and media-watching circles are noting that the media men being outed as harassers helped shape the toxic narratives that affected the 2016 election coverage (and thus, the 2016 election).

I believe that it's *enough* for a man to harass women (or others), to kick him out of the club. I believe that's harm enough, that's damage enough.

But it's rare that a man who will do that won't do other things.
