China has arrested Interpol President Meng on charges of bribery and corruption

On Monday, Chinese authorities notified the world that Meng had resigned from his position at Interpol

The truth of what’s behind this highly controversial action is unknown

Meng Hongwei is a Chinese politician. He served as Vice-Minister of China’s Public Security from 2004 until his arrest in 2018.

Any role in any country associated with influence over military funding/acquisition of “security” related is highly susceptible to corruption
In 2004, Meng became head of Interpol's China branch & was elected as President of Interpol in 2016

In April 2018, without explanation, he was relieved of his membership of the Communist Party committee at Ministry of Public Security ( the Ministry of which he was Vice Minister)
The Bloomberg article has an astonishingly hypocritical header on this situation, implying that arbitrarily detaining someone is somehow only done in China (consider all the torture and rendition cases, the drone assassinations etc the US is engaged in)😏
For all my complaints about China’s relentless economic imperialism (aided and abetted by globalist, neoliberal trade pacts), the current Chinese administration is taking a tough stance on corruption.
The reason Meng Hongwei has been arrested for corruption could relate to his role in China’s security establishment; and if so, that would explain why there is not much info on it.

Unfortunately police officials are also susceptible to corruption.
So who knows.

It looks like @realDonaldTrump has been taking on neocon propaganga foreign policy - which is fueled by fear-mongering - to the horror of the fear-mongering war hawk establishment.
I was sent a few extracts from Woodward’s book that demonstrate various neocon bureaucrats have not been able to cope w Trump resisting being held to their slide show agenda

Apparently mail was even taken from his inbox for fear Trump would make decisions they didn’t approve of
OMG - Did you know that 96.6% of antibiotics used in the US are made in China (obviously sold at massive mark-up by multinational Big Pharma corps).

The (obviously pro-Big Pharma) globalist establishment want this to continue.

A couple of days ago, we covered the reports on how the Communist Party was moving forward on giving President Xi the chance for unlimited reelections and how Chinese citizens started to complain on social platforms.
From the very first hours after the measure, phrases like “"two-term limit” or words like “immortality” were censored in China’s social platforms.
