I know that the proper format for the Twitter medium is complaining, but unfortunately, I just had something very nice happen courtesy of @MyYale . So I’m going to have to offer praise instead.
I’m visiting my Dad near Boston and decided to make a pilgrimage to @MyYale because their blog is the only useful guide to appliance reliability around. We’re renovating, and I am nervous as heck about wall ovens.
I can’t buy from them, because they don’t deliver in DC. And I hate to take up salesman time on a busy weekend, but I asked if I could just have a couple minutes. Stan Pendrak couldn’t have been nicer, took his time, and told me everything I wanted to know.
No benefit to him, just a nice guy who made me wish I lived in Boston just so I could buy there. And since they do their own service, he actually had the info I wanted about the repair record.
Anyway, if you live in Boston, can’t recommend them highly enough—most helpful, knowledgeable service I’ve ever gotten at an appliance place. And even if you don’t, but are in the market for kitchen fittings, you should be reading their blog religiously: blog.yaleappliance.com
