Update: SQLite has been assimilated by the Social Justice Borg - it now uses Mozilla’s Code of Conduct

Now the safety of everyone’s pronouns is guaranteed

Moral of the story: only progressive principles are valid, the only rules allowed enforce social justice
The Code of Conduct allows contributors to be removed based on accusations of harm unrelated to the project
Longtime contributors to tech projects have been expelled before - on bogus and hypocritical pretexts, when the real reason is political wrongthink (compiled into dossiers)
Californian employment law regards political affiliation as a protected class

Mozilla’s CoC doesn’t enumerate this category

Given the political bias at Google, FB, Twitter, Apple, etc, you can bet the CoC de facto condones politically motivated bad behavior
Pronoun-kin rejoice - Mozilla’s CoC enforces compelled speech outside of a project

It’s a wonderful way to reach all those programmers on Tumblr - when they aren’t being accused of rape for no reason by other Tumblr users
Wait which Code of Conduct was the religious one again? 🤔🤔🤔
Don’t forget to ask for permission to post the kiss emoji in all your communications or the CoC Police will get you

😘😘😘
SQLite adopted its original CoC because clients - other tech companies - implicitly made having one a condition of doing business

No prizes for guessing how SQLite was pushed into adopting one of the “vapid” CoCs the founder originally rejected
