There are several cities in America that have been Democrat controlled for decades, some for centuries.
The results speak for themselves: from a time of great success, wealth and happiness
they have fallen into ruin with disastrous results.

Last Republican Mayor? 1962, 56 years
Detroit was known as the Motor City, a pinnacle of industry and business.
Population boomed to 1.5 Million, the city was bustling with large buildings, hotels, trolleys and street cars.

Detroit has seen its population shrink to 1/3 of its peak
Detroit's crime has skyrocketed, and is a murder capital
Detroit has 40,000+ abandoned buildings that need demolishing

Since, Flint has seen several crises: economic depressions, 50% pop decrease, high crime rates, & a major public health emergency w/ lead contaminated water.

Today it is the 2nd most dangerous city in America, w/ the highest murder rate & the 6th highest poverty rate.

Today SF hosts the largest homeless pop, is a Sanctuary City & suffers from an epidemic of public pooping, MRSA & needles

Now, corrupt, poorly mismanaged ($10M to upgrade levee vs. $15B cost of damages), 12+ years after Hurricane Katrina, the city is STILL in recovery mode.

It became a major major city thanks to a busy port & shipyard.
Today it has so much crime police don't address anything less than Grand Theft Auto, is the site of multiple riots, & govt corruption (Ghost Ship Fire & police exploitation case).
