Press secy Sarah Sanders emerged from the WH bunker to say powerful words condemning violence & Anti-Semitism & deny any responsibility for Trump’s rhetoric. On the day of Pittsburgh synagogue massacre he called it “a DISPUTE” then had a hate-filled rally.
Before the massacre, when Trump called himself a Nationalist, I urged media to state plainly that his election strategy was to embrace racism & anti-Semitism. It remains his strategy even after the horrific pogrom in Pittsburgh. PLS USE CLEAR words of condemnation. They matter.
Thousands signed a letter saying Trump was not welcome in Pittsburgh unless he denounces white Nationalism. He plans to visit anyway. washingtonpost.com/nation/2018/10…

(2) This question is crucial to determining whether those in the White House deliberately ignored security warnings and instead politically decided to retain Porter.
(3) As I told @JudyWoodruff on @NewsHour tonight there were at least 3-4 opportunities where WH had enough info to realize there were serious problems w/Porter obtaining a clearance and they could have, and perhaps should have, taken action. pbs.org/newshour/show/….
