1/ I discovered an interesting potential case of Twitter censorship. I was trying to find an old tweet of mine and for the life of me no search that I did would unearth it. @TwitterSupport. I had to use Google (lol) to find the tweet on Twitter.
2/ Here's the tweet:
4/ Also, after finding the tweet using Google, I retweeted it and it got zero activity. That's never happened before. It's like the tweet is shadow-banned or something.
5/ I asked some friends who were former engineering managers at Twitter and they speculated that it may have some spam bit set on it, which is preventing it from being seen (even tho it has 900+ likes).
6/ Moral of the story: you have no idea what @Twitter is blocking without your knowledge.
