THREAD I've been predicting @JohnJamesMI pulls out upset tomorrow against Debbie Stabenow for some time. Anyone who has heard James speak and has researched his platform know he is an impressive candidate: Veteran, family man, successful business owner, well versed in auto 1/
2/ industry. And Stabenow is a stale democrat who has nothing to offer but Trump bashing. Add to that that James has been working NON-STOP visiting everywhere in the state. Now add to that Trump's victory in Michigan. Amazing economic improvement. And the Kavanaugh effect
3/ But here's what national media is missing. This year will be first time in OVER 125 years that straight-party voting is not an option. Voters must now choose a candidate and not a party. James, who has been campaigning hard in Detroit among other locations will benefit from
4/4 that, especially in light of #WalkAway and #BLEXIT Here are some facts and stats that illustrate that point. But of course, we won't know until tomorrow where things stand.

I think the starting point for commentary like this is to say that no death of any Nigerian at the hands of bandits & criminals is acceptable or justifiable. Even a single death is one too many. And one of the primary responsibilities of any Govt is security. That’s not in doubt.

#Thread Here's an incredible story about a young man who was busy with loading and unloading in #KeralaFloods relief centres. Only days later people came to know that he was none other than, Kannan Gopinathan, the Collector of Dadra & Nagar Haveli! (1/n)
He travelled in KSRTC buses and covered 5 districts in 10 days without revealing identity. He took leave for serving his homeland in the time of crisis. Kannan is a native of Kottayam. Even his relatives were not aware of his unofficial visit! (2/n)
