Here’s some of the key recommendations behind guaranteeing LGBTI-inclusive education in all state schools #EducatetoLiberate

A series of LGBTI themed statutory outcomes, applicable to all public schools #EducatetoLiberate

LGBTI inclusion embedded across the curriculum, with the development of specific benchmarks and the inclusion of LGBTI topics within course specifications used by teachers: e.g History, Modern Studied and so on #EducatetoLiberate

A new, Government resourced LGBT-inclusive education training programme for all existing teachers - free and fully accessible.

LGBTI awareness training to be included within student teacher training programmes #EducatetoLiberate

The development of new supportive curricular resources which will assist teachers and schools in meeting the above thematic outcomes within statutory guidance #EducatetoLiberate

The inclusion of LGBTI prompt questions within all standard school inspections, in order to monitor the implementation of LGBTI-inclusive education.

The ability to record bullying incidents as homo/bi/transphobic #EducatetoLiberate
