It is “altogether fitting and proper” that Chief Justice Roberts defend his branch of the government against criticisms from @POTUS, even as Justice Alito did during #SOTU re then President @BarackObama mischaracterization of Citizens United. Breathless hot tales reveal much.
I remain a fan of Chief Justice’s opinion in Sebelius, reminding people of the Spending and Commerce Clause holdings therein, and the political consequences to Democratic Party that flowed from their overreach in 2010. Article III patrols the fences, “calls balls and strikes.”
