Today I’m left so inspired by two inspiring Muslim women @FatimaDiriye and @Hanan_a_k_s , who I’m lucky enough to call friends, who are speaking out and shaping our understanding of being British Muslims and challenging Islamophobia
Both are addressing a report out today by MPs talking how prevalent Islamophobia has become in the UK

If it wasn’t for the voices of amazing Muslim women like these two, much of how we understand Islamophobia - particularly gendered Islamophobia - would be missing from conversations.
