USA needs a GDPR. Europe is decades ahead of us and the next Congress needs to catch up. The FTC has clearly failed to protect America’s personal data. Our approach to privacy was a mistake. Time to admit it. Time to get serious.
When we discovered that US voter data was processed by Cambridge Analytica in the UK we realized we could complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. There is no such equivalent in the US. What if Cambridge Analytica hadn’t exported our data to UK?
My personal highlight of 2018: Realizing the work of 2017 had paid off. The world’s first criminal prosecution of Cambridge Analytica is because a simple filing with the UK ICO. Turns out, my Independence Day. Essentially, why is a British company interfering with my elections?

I don’t have my own stories (I moved out at 16) and don’t have permission to share the ones I’ve been told, but I just keep seeing it. Like it’s a rite of passage for mom to walk in on the married adult children or bang on walls/floor, or otherwise be intrusively bad neighbors.
Which is my fucking nightmare, btw. I don’t even like touching my parents (when I was actually in contact, which I’m not). Or having them in my space at all.

I have a huge personal bubble in general, but it’s state sized for parents. (And not Little New England. Wyoming.)

My current theory based on the now publicly available evidence, is that a group of political fixers/saboteurs inside the DOJ/FBI made Trump's incoming Nat'l Security Advisor the target of a frame.
