If you know me personally, you know that I am very private person. I don't share easily and when I do, it's only amongst people whom I trust. I don't tell folks my middle name, what makes you think I'll tell you about my sex life? Nah. Not me at all.
From an Islamic standpoint, I shouldn't tell you what I do. And I don't ask the women that I counsel to divulge certain information also. It is possible to teach and support without having complete access to a person's entire sexual history and current practice.
I uncover only the information which is necessary. I don't want to know the intimate details of day-to-day sex with your husband. I need to know just enough to be able to coach you into a healthier and more fulfilling experience.
