[Thread] 0/9 I've always been an automation and data nerd.
When working at @JumiaKenya, I tested most tools enabling to use data to automate operational processes.
When I started actiondesk.io, I looked at them even more closely.
1/9 Let me summarize in this thread 3 years of testing, research and thinking around data automations and integrations. Those tools can help you save days or weeks of work, and make you a workplace hero
2/9 A. If you want straighforward "if this then that" type of automations, @zapier is the way to go. Nobody competes with them in terms of ease of use and number of integrations (+1000 vs ~250 for closest competitors).
3/9 You also might want to consider @automate (simple UX, cheap on a per task basis), @builtio (simple UX), or @MicrosoftFlow (if you need integrations with microsoft's softwares)
4/9 B. If you need two way sync between systems, @PieSync will become your best friend.
5/9 C. For complex workflows & data transformations, meet @integromat & @azuqua. You'll find advanced features such as loop, If/else logic (both), ability to take into account past data & data aggregation (integromat), data combination (azuqua and to a lesser extent Integromat)
6/9 D. If you'd like to use AI tools such as sentiment analysis, optical character recognition, image recognition @stamplay is your man (or bot I guess)
7/9 E/ If you need advanced data transformations and to customize triggering events, check out parabola.io and actiondesk.io. actiondesk will be great for people who are used to using spreadsheets, parabola for peole who prefer drag & drop interfaces
8/9 You want to learn more about this space and those tools? Check out the infography we just published: blog.actiondesk.io/infography-9-a…
We've also published an extensive ebook on the topic: blog.actiondesk.io/alternatives-c…
Disclaimer: I am the founder of actiondesk
9/9 Have I missed any useful tool in this category? Which tools do you prefer? Would love to hear from you
