Of course not, and with good reason. 1) They only cared about the money. 2) The Putin regime isn’t against guns *in America*, but really only cared about the NRA as a conduit to the GOP and Trump, which the NRA likely understood and ignored due to point one.
At least some people on the NRA side saw this as a win-win. Get money and be of use connecting the GOP and the Trump campaign with Russian govt representatives. Helping! I’m sure they thought it was going to be pats on the head all round. Probably was.

Corrupt business people are routine targets for the Kremlin, especially if they have political contacts or ambitions. The problem with Trump and his entourage was that every link was a weak link. It became too obvious.
Instead of one lead paying off with Russian access, everybody from Trump's national security advisor to the president's son-in-law to he and his party's biggest org donor ordered the treason platter with a side of treason with extra treason sprinkled on top.
Inevitably this will lead to the macho superpatriot NRA and America First Trumpists saying that of course they accepted Russian help and Russian money. Who wouldn’t? Today’s denials are always tomorrow’s boasts.
