Just read through that Maker vs Indiehacker post on IH. I won’t even link it because it’s such a load of bollocks. The biggest irony is that while all these people are pontificating over culture and nomenclature, I spent the day coding and watching Stripe payments roll in.
Who actually cares what they are called? This feels like high school in the 90s where you either hung out with the dance music clique or the metal music clique. Apparently you weren’t allowed to be both.
I don’t know if I’m an Indiehacker or a Maker. I spend about 0% of my day thinking about. Maker is faster to type, I know that much. They are both ambiguous, broad terms. It’s like trying to define “what is an entrepreneur”? Who cares?
