We look down upon ISKCON. We look down upon even very well intentioned indologists who may be doing sterling work - assuming "bad intent" even without reading them
It is an inward looking mindset for better or worse.
That would be a case of Hinduism losing its essential character
It helps to have a base beyond India
Our cultural triumphs in SE Asia are a case in point.
