Note that the MSM was quick to point out the drop in Black turnout relative to 08 & 12 without also mentioning that SCOTUS dismantled the VRA for the GOP in 2013 precisely *because* Black folk voted in record numbers for Obama. High Black turnout was Jim Crow 2.0’s justification.

They didn’t just fuck up the Voting Rights Act for shits & giggles. They did it to suppress the Black vote and it worked as planned in both ‘16 and ‘18. They will gladly use the out they provided themselves, especially if most of America keeps pretending the shit isn’t happening.
